What we know
Rockstar hasn't published any GTA 6 cheats, and the game isn't out until November 19, 2026. So any "GTA 6 money cheat" for PS5, Xbox or PC posted before launch is a guess at best. We only list cheats that work, and we'll add a money cheat only if the game really has one.
History: which GTA games had a money cheat
- GTA San Andreas: yes. The PC code
HESOYAMgives health, armor and $250,000. It was the last main GTA with a money cheat. - GTA IV: no money cheat.
- GTA V: no money cheat in story mode on any platform, from PS3 to PS5.
No main GTA since San Andreas has had a money cheat. That makes one in GTA 6 unlikely, but not impossible.
How to get money in GTA 5 story mode instead
- Heists: the big story heists pay the most, especially The Big Score.
- Lester's assassination missions: each one moves a company's stock price. Buy the right stock with all three characters and sell once the price climbs.
- Properties: businesses you buy pay a weekly income.
GTA 6's economy isn't known yet. We'll add real money tips once the game is out.
Watch out for fake money cheats
Money "generators", APK mods and sites that ask for your Rockstar, PlayStation or Xbox login are scams. Using money glitches or mods online can also get your account banned. Real cheats are built into the game and never ask for a login.
