How to enter cheats on PS5

  1. Load your story mode save. Cheats don't work in online modes.
  2. During play, not in the pause menu, press the buttons in order. Go quickly but don't mash.
  3. A message in the corner confirms the cheat. If nothing shows, try again a bit faster.

You can also dial cheats on the in-game phone on any platform. See the phone cheat numbers.

Trophies

In GTA V, entering a cheat turns off trophies for that session. Reload your save to get them back. GTA 6 is likely to work the same way.

PS4

GTA 6 is only announced for PS5. If you play GTA V on PS4, the same button combos work there too.

When will GTA 6 cheats for PS5 be out?

On launch day at the earliest. GTA 6 comes out on November 19, 2026. Players find and test cheats in the first hours, and the real codes replace the list above once they are confirmed.

Questions players ask

Are there GTA 6 cheats for PS5?

Not yet. GTA 6 comes out on PS5 on November 19, 2026, and cheat codes are only known once players can test the game. Lists posted before then are guesses or GTA V codes.

Will GTA 6 PS5 cheats be button combos?

Probably. GTA V on PS5 uses D-pad and button sequences, like GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas before it. GTA IV used phone numbers instead. Rockstar hasn't confirmed how GTA 6 works.

Is there a GTA 6 money cheat on PS5?

No money cheat is known. GTA V never had one in story mode, so we don't list one. See the money cheat page for the full answer.
