GTA 6 preload starts November 12
Digital pre-orders of GTA 6 can preload from November 12, 2026, one week before launch. Boxed copies with a download code go on sale the same day.
If you pre-ordered GTA 6 digitally on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S, you can start downloading it on November 12, 2026. That gives you a week to get the files ready before the game unlocks on November 19.
GTA 6 has no disc at launch. Boxed copies contain a download code and go on sale on November 12, so you can redeem the code and preload too.
In the US the Standard Edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99. Pre-orders of either edition get the Vintage Vice City Pack.
Rockstar hasn't shared official unlock times yet. PlayStation Store listings point to midnight local time, which would make New Zealand the first country to play.
